Cashiers Designer Showhouse

20th Anniversary

ABOUT THE PROJECT

In early 2017 Traditions in Tile and Stone was approached by our long time advertising partner Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles to participate in this year’s Cashiers Designer Showhouse. Our history together gave them confidence in our ability to provide new and exciting products and designs, exceptional service and on time delivery.

Ashley Klem and Sarah Cronin from our Buckhead Showroom worked with Alison Womack Jowers from Womack Jowers Interiors on the selections for the two cottages Fowler and Madden. Fowler was designed with more traditional elements and for Madden we aimed to achieve a transitional modern feel.  Since these are show houses set in the mountains, we wanted to design and create possibilities that bring the outdoors into the spaces. In Madden, we included natural elements such as stone pebbles and wood tile planks to balance the large format tiles used in the Master Bath. With Fowler, we kept it simple but interesting, such as in the Second Bath where we used a soft grey wall tile for the wainscoting paired with a marble mosaic floor tile.

With these homes we wanted to showcase the options of tile design to future home buyers and show that you can easily create a desired retreat tailored to one’s personal tastes.
