Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)

LEED is a rating system devised by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) to evaluate the environmental performance of a building and to encourage market transformation toward sustainable design and construction. The system that was created is credit based where each project can earn points toward different levels of LEED Certification. LEED points for flooring can be earned by using locally sourced and manufactured materials, made within 500 miles of a project location. Materials used produce no detectable emissions of VOCs and are produced using pre and or post-consumer recycled materials. In order to offer our commercial clients the tools and materials needed to earn more points for projects seeking LEED Certification we have partnered with several US Manufacturers who meet all of these requirements and are some of the top manufacturers in the world in terms of design and functionality.
